The 5^th International Cancer Symposium was held on 2-4 November 2022. We had the pleasure to host fantastic speakers such as William G. Kaelin, Nobel Prize in Medicine 2019. This edition was a great success with 650 attendees.

 

The 4^th International Cancer Symposium was held  on 2-4 October 2019, at the Palais des Congrès de Lyon. The aim of this edition was to address fundamental issues in cancer biology and to question how tumour cell plasticity contributes to enhanced tumour heterogeneity, sustained metastatic dissemination and escape from conventional and targeted therapies. Furthermore, this extended edition held alongside the “Gilles Thomas” Symposium, to commemorate this exceptional researcher, who had embraced the Lyon culture from 2009 to 2014. Gilles Thomas, who was Head of a CRCL Department, created the bioinformatics platform of the “Synergie Lyon Cancer Foundation”. His contributions to the field of Cancer Genetics were acknowledged worldwide.

 

The 3^rd International Cancer Symposium was held on 25-27 of September 2017, at the Palais des Congrès de Lyon. The aim of this edition was to address fundamental issues in cancer biology from the molecular and biochemical determinants of cancer initiation and dissemination, to the impact of the tumor microenvironment and immunity. This scientific gathering proposed to emphasise the synergy between fundamental, clinical, and translational research.
 

The 2^nd CRCL International Symposium was held on 21-23 of September 2015, at the Palais des Congrès de Lyon. The Symposium was an event designed to promote the international visibility of the CRCL, and to showcase the quality of its basic and translational research.
